When is the last time you allowed yourself to tumble down a hill? Laugh without volume control? Walk in the rain? I don’t want to write your run-of-the mill, we’ve-all-heard-it-before, stop-and-smell-the roses post. I just want you to take a moment, with eyes closed and remember the feeling.
My favorite part of girls’ nights out is the morning after when over coffee or phone calls we recap the evening’s antics. Sometimes, we blame the alcohol for the bits one or another of us doesn’t remember…but it happens even when alcohol isn’t a factor.

I have been reminiscing quite a bit lately and I stumbled across the idea of “transactive memory”. Studies have revealed a process whereby people remember things in relationships and groups. We use each other as extra storage, creating by default a collective memory or group consciousness of which we each only carry pieces. When we look back through the filmy windows of memory could we, in actuality, be living as one mind – in many bodies?
I don’t like science fiction but there are things we don’t understand. In “Getting Jacked” I talked about karma, about money and within two weeks, I was given an unsolicited promotion.
I scoffed at The Secret I will roll my eyes if you talk about “manifesting” a new SUV but sometimes I just choose to believe in magic that brings dreams and people closer together.
This is very interesting. Our thoughts create our reality. What you think will happen is what will more than likely happen. Always expect the best and that is what you will get.
